If you're planning to do a destination wedding in Maui and are looking for a good coordinator, I recommend using White Orchid Weddings (aka WOW).  And how appropriate a name.

I had visited many Hawaii wedding coordinating websites, and I found WOW to have the best website and services available.  First of all, I was impressed with the look and design of the website.  I really felt they captured the style and feel I was looking for in a tropical wedding affair.  WOW really captured my interest and attention and I was eager to start collaborating with them. 

I worked with Jacqueline Ishikawa, an experienced wedding coordinator for many years, who really had an air about her that made me feel at ease, as if I'd known her for years.  Her patience and attention to detail, made my wedding planning a piece of cake. I was impressed with her organizational skills and knowledge of weddings as she took care of all the elements involved with putting a wedding event together (minister, location for ceremony and reception, food, music, flowers, liquor, decor, etc. EVERYTHING!). She can even organize your pre and post wedding festivities if you so chose.

If you have absolutely no idea what you want your wedding to look like, Jackie is full of all sorts of great wedding ideas.  Likewise, if you have too many ideas and can't make a decision, it helps to have someone who's done this many times before to help you narrow down your choices and bring that dream wedding of yours to life, all the while staying within your wedding budget.

Surprisingly, most of our transactions were done via emails and a few phone calls in between.  I was (am) still stressed out over the whole wedding planning thing, but much less so than if I had attempted to organize the whole thing without any help.
